Data Collection Policy

Last Updated: January 2025 • Effective Date: January 2025

Our Principle: Minimal Data Collection

We only collect what's necessary to deliver immediate product value while maintaining user trust and low friction. We do NOT collect more data than needed.

1. Data Separation

We separate your data into distinct categories:

Authentication Data (Managed by Clerk)

Owned by: Clerk (our authentication provider)

Purpose: User authentication and security

Data: Email, password (hashed), MFA settings, OAuth connections

We never see or store your password. It's managed entirely by Clerk.

Profile Data (Managed by AxiomLaunch)

Purpose: Personal identity and preferences

We do NOT collect on your profile:

  • Full legal name
  • Phone number
  • Physical address
  • Business details

2. Business/Project Data

Business data is collected only when you create projects or use specific features:

  • Business ideas and preferences
  • Entity type selection
  • Jurisdiction (country, state/province)
  • Industry and business type

Incorporation Flow

  • Company name
  • Directors information

Key point: Business data is stored in project-specific tables, NOT on your user profile. Each project is independent.

3. Automatically Collected Data

For legal compliance and audit purposes, we automatically collect:

  • IP Address: For consent audit trails
  • Country: Derived from IP, for entity routing
  • Browser User Agent: For consent records
  • Timezone Changes: For compliance deadlines

4. Account Deletion

When you delete your account:

  • 30-day restoration window before permanent deletion
  • All projects and business data are deleted
  • All documents and files are deleted
  • Personal profile data is anonymized

What We Preserve (Legal Requirement)

  • Consent records (terms acceptance, IP, timestamp)
  • Financial records (Stripe IDs, subscription history)
  • Audit trail for compliance

These records are preserved for legal and regulatory compliance.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: View all data we have about you
  • Correct: Update inaccurate information
